Chapter History

The Northeast Tarrant County Texas Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta was chartered on May 1, 1988 by President, Sherry Eckhart & Vice President, Nancy Jackson.  Through the last thirty years, the chapter has gone through many stages.  In the 90s & 2000s, the group painted pumpkins for Circle of Friends, the Cook Childrens' affiliate.  Members also sold pansies to their friends & families. The Alum Chapter philanthropy included Circle of Friends and the Tri Delta's Crescent Fund as well as area DFW collegiate chapters. In the 2010s, ladies met for dinner & drinks at local restaurants.  They also met every fall for Founders' Day sometimes with the Arlington Alums & the UTA chapter.  Every spring they met for their annual Mother/Daughter Pansy Tea which was held at various locations including the old Delta Delta Delta Executive Office location in Arlington & Coco's Tea Room in Colleyville.

On November 14, 2018, the chapter celebrated our Founders' Day at Brio Tuscan Grill in Southlake.  Twenty-two Tri Delts enjoyed an evening of good friends & food while remembering college days & why our sorority means so much to us.  New officers were installed & the chapter is looking forward to a great year while steadfastly loving one another & being kind alike to all!
